1.8Turbo Fabia

Featured Replies

Sorry if a Repost, it's not the Red one we've all seen before though. Kinda looks like StuartHatchs' old motor.

1.8t Fabia!

Not seen that before, top job. :)

christ i bet it will go like stink

I have actually sat in that car it has a mk2 Octavia vrs interior

was slower than my 1.4 it was before the engine swap

Lovely stuff - nice find!

If I had more time and money I'd be off after a solid Fabia 2.0 base car :D

unless it's had stuff done engine wise, probably goes about the same as the Ibiza/Polo that came with a 1.8T?

I seem to remember someone asked Ross Clarke (Lummox) for a quote and I think it was £3K plus the engine. As I recall it wasn't a difficult conversion as it has already been done 'officially' on the Polo GTi so there was a template to work from.

looks good that, suprised many others havent followed with doing that

How they should have come from the factory!

17" Spiders and a 20vT :D

Looks nice. Love the colour too.

i was under the impression that it was available from the factory but not for uk

Nope, they did the Polo and Ibiza which the 1.8t, which share the Fabia's platform, but never gave that engine to the Fabia.

The only things close were the 1.9TDi vRS, or the 2.0 petrol, which wasn't great with ~115bhp.

Think they shoulda done the vRS in that colour, it just suits the front bumper sooo well.
