Damb,I don`t have either on mine, any Idea how to hook it up to a diesel engine?

not really mate, the felicia diesels use the altenator to get a rpm sig but not sure if ti would work with yours

Gettting a tacho pulse for a diesel means either running a feed off the alternator (qv), or using a mechanical drive tacho.

That`s whats getting me I have 3 wires going into the alternator 1 is battery, other is from chase and the other is to the instrument panel, does not work, I`m flitting the whole interior along with my instrument panel to a 94 black model I have to keep my old circuit board, fuel gauge and engine temp because the 94 don`t fit ,I don`t know do, you think it will work with a new rev counter do you think maybe the old one is broken? Is that all that is required right a pulse?Anyhow it`s no use if I don`t have everything connected up with a multimeter in my hand maybe it`s the alternator....
