Happened today, car had been running for approx an hour at motorway speeds (nothing illegal honest) and the power just dissapeared and the car stalled, pulled on to hard shoulder tried to re-start, engine turned over but would not fire.

Called Skoda assistance (RAC) who eventually towed car to my local daelership, they tried to start it and typically it went first go, they have kept it pending further investigation ........( the RAC man said it was the fuel regulator, and was unable to help owing to its position)

Will keep you all updated.

I hope that they get this sorted for you and that it proves to be a one off. This doesn't sound like a Yeti specific fault because the 1.8 TSI engine is common to a number of VW group cars. Might be worth looking up some feedback for these other cars (Octavia for starters) on the forums to see if they have ever suffered from a similar complaint.
