anyone ever found out why Greenlight Insurance will not insure Fabia/Octavia models? seems strange that they will insure non-performance modified cars but will not insure VRS's??

dont know tbh bit strange that, try someone like chris knott they are on this forum and give a discount if you mention your on briskoda, worth a try :thumbup:

is chris knott an insurance sales company or a insurance broker? problem is with living in Northern Ireland some insurance companies still see it as a high risk area even though they should really break it down to post codes areas with high car crime/claims/accidents or what not. thanks for the advive though mate

Green Light have had too many total loss claims from vRS models, or so they told me.

Read somewhere that Greenlight don't charge extra for mods to the cars (if that's true?) then it might make sense as a remap can make a big difference to the cars without much outlay and are quite popular so for their POV makes sense. But then if they go by that stance nearly all tubro cars are going to be an issue.

Does anyone know if they do normal Fabias? IE non vRS ones?
