PAS Light on and off

Featured Replies

My PAS has been on and off for over a year now - but it's leaning towards very rarely working these days. I have also noticed when turning my wheel the lights flicker quite noticeably. My battery is about 14 months old so I'm doubting it's that. Is it likely to be my sensor also? On also, last week the Engine Management Light came on.....for one day and never came back. Might that be related?

Code scan should tell you which components are faulty. PAS could be sensor, or pump, wiring fault. EML could be one of a dozen things, so again code scan rather than guessing would be in order.

Very likely your PAS sensor is faulty. Common problem with this car. Symptoms are flickering lights and stiff steering at low speeds. Get a new angle sensor. I suggest you get a new one. If you PM me I will tell you a cheaper way out but you'd still need to get a brand new sensor
