Hello all!

I've just sold a SEAT Leon Cupra R225 to fund the purchase of a new house. Now initially thats bad, but to balance out the books something good has happened. I can now change the missus car from an Ibiza 1.2S to something better as a compromise.

I am currently looking at a second hand 04 Fabia VRS with 6k on the clock. It has a JabbaSport remap to 190bhp, and is on for

Don't know any specifics about the Ibiza FR TDi, but in general the Fabia is a superior vehicle in almost every respect to the Ibiza. (in fact Skoda compared with Seat when it comes down to it).

I'll agree they rattle less. Both the Leon and Ibiza rattle like bags of bolts.

I've spent 8yrs with VW's, 2 yrs with SEAT, and now I'm looking at Skoda's. I hope VAG group doesnt buy FSO or Reliant so my slip down the VAG hierachy can stop soon!!

I've been ridiculed suitably by work folk for looking at a Skoda but I think they seem to be really well bolted together. Cant vouch for ownership and dealers, but if JDPowers is anything to go by..... I'm really up for it a Skoda - I nearly had an Octavia instead of the Leon.

The only thing is I wanted ESP and Xenons and this 04 car doesnt have them so I may have to buy a new one and remap it later.

VAG probably will end up buying proton by the looks of it :), so keep on sliding, it will be a Persona yRS next :)

You will have the last laugh, when they see the poke the Vrs has

Hello and Welcome,

i got lots if ridicule from friends and work collegues but they soon changed there tune once they'd been out in it.

if you want a specific spec then you'd be best ordering one, you'll probably have to wait due to the amount of people who are getting vRS's.
