Tether iPhone 3GS

Featured Replies

Unnoficially obviously.

Do i need to have a jailbroken phone?

I am using 3.1.2 firmware and am on the o2 network.

Has anyone on here managed to get it working without paying the £10 per month extra that the burglars at o2 want?

Unfortunately 3.1.2 fw broke the unoffical tethering.. so far noones found a easy way round it.

I wondered if that was the case. Will keep my eyes peeled for a way round it.

I'm running 3.1.2 on my 3G and have enabled tethering no problems.

It's jailbroken obviously, just go into Cydia and look for the tethering enablers in the repositories. Works great and no extra charges.

What network are you on?

Did you have to install an APN config ??
