i think i will join that club to. perhaps i should only half join as i was only the owner and not the driver!!!!

Really sorry for you mate looks like a nasty off. Glad you are ok.

Be hard with Insurance Co. Mate of mine smashed his MR2 and had all mods declared. Took a while for them to come to an agreement on the mods but was well worth arguing with them for a while

Best of luck

Only just noticed this, sorry to hear about the car Clive, at least you're ok.

Bodyshops can work wonders, When that brick got dropped on mine last year and people on here were saying it was a write-off, it was fixed within a couple of weeks.

Let us know what the insurance decide and any issues over claiming for mods, I'm sure theres lots of members on here with insured mods who'd be interested to know where they'd stand if the same thing happened.

Simples - just don't let Clive drive your car

Sorry Clive, couldn't resist - hope you see the funny side

Clive,

when its a total loss does that mean that you cant buy it back?

all depends on the insures some will some wont will have to wait and see. i have said that i will repair it no matter what the cost as its my baby ;)

so fingers and toes crossed

Ill cross mine for you too mate.

update on ure progress mate?

not sure on the insurance paper goes out tomoz but there maybe a light at the end of the tunnel

yea, hope you get it back with a nice payout,

kepp us updated on the insurance as I have the same thing with the insurance, all declared so would like to know just how true it is.lol

Only just saw this too! Looked like a strong impact.

Really hope it all gets sorted out and the insurance company give you an easy ride.

I'm guessing that bumper on the car was the one you were going to sell to me... If you don't mind I think i'll politefully decline it now if that's ok :giggle:

But seriously, glad yourself and any passengers were un-harmed. The reason I needed a new bumper is because my octy had a little kiss with a stone wall in the snow and ice. Not as bad as yours, but as with most people who had a mishap, I feel your pain!

where is baker21 when i need him :giggle:

You'll need more than Baker and a polishing mop!

Sorry guys but I have been away in Poland for a week and got back to a PM from Clive and now I have just found this.............. :o

What a bummer and glad your all OK, wish I could help out here mate but looks like nothing I can help with...........

That's some serious shunt on the front end............. :o

better than a shunt up the rear end though :giggle: :giggle:
