Hi , the wife has decided that she wants to get some uprated speakers for her vrs , anyone got any suggestions ?

I've currently got spl dynamics 6.2 components in the front and combinded with a very old goodmans amp they sound good. Little on the large side depth wise so would recomend something shallower.

Mounting you have two options. Buy the polo adapters or make some mdf baffles. I used 2x18mm.

When fitting I would highly recommend you sounddeaden around the speaker. Made a nice difference to me.

You can get some nice SEk60 Vibe components in there, but must be amped - at least 100 Watts - & placement for tweakers could be tricky!

Have you changed the headunit yet? It's the weakest part of the standard system as far as sound quality goes. The standard speakers don't sound too bad when they've got something decent driving them.

I use to have a mark one Fabia and found that most speakers I looked at would struggle to fit due to the shallow mounting depth. You'll be safer looking for shallow component speakers. I just happen to have some for sale. pm me.
