Floor mats are included in the vRS btw

This doesn't seem clear as the Skoda brochure doesn't mention that the mats are included as part of the vRS package and on the options list for the mats it doesn't say that these are excluded for the vRS. I'll argue this when I collect the car. Thx for letting me know.

why do i get this car on DTD for £17,689 ??

Are you sure you are not getting a quote for the petrol version ?

floor mats are provided, and I seem to remember that they are listed somewhere. However there are some heavy duty rubber ones you can buy which might be what they have sold you.

That's fine, the heavy duty mats will come handy in the winter.

I purchased a set of the Skoda rubber mats soon after I bought the car in Nov 2007 for £25. The carpet ones are okay, a bit thin perhaps, but would become filthy after a few of my winter trips and muddy shoes so figured I'd stick to the rubber ones all year round. They show very little sign of wear after approx 13k miles. Highly recommened.

I also got a heavy duty estate boot mat free with the car (worth £55) as part of my negotiations. Likewise showing little sign of wear.
