Just curious did you collect the 5 door hatch or the combi? , and also as a matter of interest did your dealer fit locking wheel nuts and install maps on the columbus for you foc.?

Got the 5 door hatch. Haven't checked the wheel nuts. will let you know. never even thought to ask. Maps were installed for €100.

Was going to post a few pictures today Bryan but can't figure out how to. The posting options seem to be only to use a url option. Can I email you with some?

Just checked the wheels and found that there were no locking wheel nuts. Don't really mind because if someone really wants to steal them they would come prepared with a set of VW/Audi attachments. Right?

Cheers for the pix Darragh

I think it's the DSG's that are held up, my mate is waiting on an Octy, and Skoda have given him 4 free services and a cash lump to compensate him for the delay.

Octavia Elegance models in Ireland can now expect up to 15 weeks, due mainly to the unavailability of the bolero radio, in enough quantities to meet demand,

For any Irish posters - coming down the M50 this morning when I passed 2 transporters in convoy loaded with Superbs and Octys - someone's gonna have a happy end of the week.

Excellent, mine was built in week 9 and still no sign of it.

The dealer told me that it was to be shipped into dublin sunday night to be shipped to Cork then Monday or Tuesday for pick up from them on Thursday or Friday.

Can't wait now as she's asking me every day like a child..

thanks for note..

Sweet pictures there Darragh, the leather look fair nice.. best of luck with it.

I ordered a V6 Superb estate last Thursday and was told delivery would be early July!! I hope it doesn't get delayed any longer. :S

17 weeks?! Bloomin'eck!

I see in Daraghs photos that the dash has the wood effect.

Has it changed. I have 09 elegance I got in NI new and it has the metal looking trim instead of the wood.

Is it gone back to wood trim now ?

I believe it will have been optional extra (£125). Base trim is metal trim on all UK models.

Nice one! Hows she driving? is it what you expected?

She goes like a dream, better than my expectations.

Great, Im waiting for delivery of my 1.9tdi and have started to get a little worried with a lot of people saying its sluggish and underpowered, glad yours is good! cheers me up a little

After 9 weeks my wife's Greenline has arrived.

I'll get some pictures up next weekend as it is ****ing rain outside now for the next few days.

We are delighted with the car, The Irish Greenline spec comes with a lot as standard but she added Parking Sensors Front and Back, Heat Nozzels, Heat Seats, Tyre Pressure Monitor and Full Auto Park Assist..

I picked up a set of new 18"x8" - 2 Piece Audi Calito Alloys so getting tyres on the next payslip to replace the standard steel rims.

Just got a call from the dealer, car turned up a few mins ago, so am looking forward to collecting it on Apr 1st :thumbup: . Going to run out later to get 1st glimps of it (cant wait 2 days :giggle: )

Had a quick run out to see her, and now 2 days seems way to long to be waiting, I want it NOW
