Featured Replies

Picked up another Skoda last week

an estate, but it's a bit special, has a lot of extras i've never seen on a skoda before....

heated leather seats,

leather steering wheel

different rear spoiler

5 X alloy wheels

etc...

is it some kind of special edition?

it has a badge that i cant make out, Lawdn & Klement or something

Yes, it's a special edition :) L&K

Laurin & Klement

Quite a rare car you've got there, especially as an estate! Is it a 1.6 or 1.3?

Pay much for it?

really?

300e,

i bought it with the intention of putting the 1.6 engine into my Rally Felicia and putting the leather seats into my road car but if its as rare as you say, i may just keep this as my road car so...

not perfect though, engine is a bit smokey and the boot door is full of rot, pity

Laurin & Klement - which comes from the original "Laurin & Klement" coachbuilding company that became Skoda.

The Laurin and Klement trim is still going strong as the "top spec" Octavia, which has all the toys.

I'd certainly keep it on the road if you can. Tailgates are 10 a penny, and yes prone to rot :(

Boot door can be changed, common rusting point on Fellys, as ar the wheel arches

Looks good though.

1.6....if its smokey might be worth seeing if its burning oil or a problem with the CAT/exhaust.

I believe I read somewhere that they only made 200 of each version as a L&M ?? (200 1.3's 200 1.6's - no idea how many were estates).

A rare car now even rarer!!! with rust eating them.

Philje has one

Well, most of one... :wonder: :giggle:

i thought larun and klement made bicycles anyway?? and not cars??

I think it was 100 estates and 100 hatchbacks in varying combinations of the engines (no diesel though).

Aye rare little beast you have there. Unfortunately mine is in a sorry state at the moment. She's a 1996 and showing her age a bit!

Makes me want to cry now thinking about it... perfect timing that iTunes should put Amazing Grace on now... :'( lol

Lol. Yeh true. It's just missing most of the metal in the sills at the moment!
