Hi all,

My name's Stu from North Wales (nr Ruthin) and the missus has just bought an '08 Octavia Vrs Tdi.

Our previous car was an '02 VW Passat 130 Tdi Sport and it was such a good car that we were really struggling to find something to replace it.

We loved the Passat and even went to the WRC round in Germany in it (and I managed to get a lap of the Nurburgring in!), so it says something for how far Skoda have come that the Vrs was the only car that could realistically replace the Passat.

She'll have the Vrs in the week and I am so jealous but at least I get to play with it at the weekend and I really can't wait to go back to the 'ring

p.s. This isn't my fist Skoda...that was a beige 130 Estelle and even though it blew it's headgasket regularly, I loved it.

To say the missus didn't is an understatement though!
