8J Rims

Featured Replies

Oz Super T'S 17" 8J wide, only paid 150 quid would my 205 tyres fit on them or is it asking abit much? tyres are goodyear eagle nct5 (its still running what the police fitted as it's an ex police car)

Any help much appreciated!

I wouldn't recommend it mate, 215 are the smallest iirc 225 are the ideal size.

would be a big stretch

I'd say you need 225's personally. Get some pictures up when you have them fitted mate.

I dont think any good fitters will even attempt it, 215 look like they are stretched so 205 might not even reach. and if they do they would look funny and prob pop off when you went round a corner a bit brisk or even hit the brakes hard might dislodge them.

if they do go on it would be nice to see tho.

lol yep good for show but you couldnt drive on them.......

you would need bigger rims than 17 tho and the car would have to be lowered. also the rolling radius of the wheels will be smaller too.

I think 225/45 is the ideal size.

on the page you can put in what tyre size and the rims they will fit. 215 are max on 7.5" rims

Mine are 215s on 18x8 rims and I wish I'd got 225s:

looks nice actually but there is no protection on the rims at all there.

Yeah I should fix that :D

Yeah I should fix that :D

didnt mean to be nasty mate, just wondered if thats how they fit on if they should be flush. They are a good addition to the bumper IMO

I had a bit of a time getting them to fit flush when I fitted them and I think I need to pull them out and re-glue them. They're solidly fixed just don't look quite right from some angles.

that looks poop and will be a very quick way to get 3 points
