anyone had second thoughts about what they originally ordered and changed the spec / options after the dealer placed the order?

Is this possible or, are the dealers reluctant to change after the car order is placed with Skoda and a build date is set.

Would this delay the delivery assuming the build date is several weeks away (mid March)?

The dealer is unable to change the spec once the car reaches factory 'confirmed' status. This does not usually happen for a few weeks into the process and so until then it should be possible to spec change the car.

Whenever I order a new car I always have second thoguhts! I've never bothered actually changing an order though.

We changed our specs a week into the order from candy white to mato brown and added Park assist and Annapurna wheels.

Dealer said it was a non event as, while the order reached the factory, it's status was still "pending confirmation slot".
