As above really, has it been done. Does the vRS take 5x100 or 5x112?

Mk5 Golf is 5x112 same as a Mk2 Octavia. Fabia is 5x100 I believe so

It'll take Mk4 golf alloys but not Mk 5

Although i'm sure if your want is great enough there'll a set of adaptors or replicas with your name on them

Yep, as above - PCD is wrong and so is the offset. Although a set of 20mm adaptors would cure both issues if you really wanted them on a Fab

would the ones off the polo gti fit though?

I might be getting a swap for my VRS alloys for a set of Monza Reps in 18inch

Will see on saturday whether the guy wants to swap or not

18's will make it look like a roller skate.

I've got coilies so i'm fine for ride height

not so much the ride height, but it 18's just dont look right, 17" is perfect though.

My mate had 18inch rs4 alloys on his fabia and lowered 40mm it looked mint

He had low profile tyres on though these ones have a bigger profile tyre than that

Rule is

1) you cannot fit oem vw golf GTI Monzas on to a fabia vRS

2) you can fit Monza reps made by "don't know" as long as 5*100 57.1mm hub, and reasonable offset

3) You could fit oem Monzas using 5*100 to 5*112 hub conversion kits which will also give a bit of spacing, say 15mm to 20mm.

Personally I like these very much and would do this to mine if I had the spare cash right now.

It'll handle awfully on 18s, but apart from that...

And yes, the very similarly styled wheels from the Polo GTi (9N3) will fit fine and go straight on.

Im pretty sure the polo ones fit, although they are a smaller size by a inch.

hey guys thats my yellow vrs wit 17" gti reps from wheel base £495 for the wheels polished and gun metal grey inners with toyo tyres hope this helps

to be honnest the ride is "firm" :S with the 17"s, 18" would kill the car lmao

I think they really suit that VRS..

They don't look too bad at all you know. Strangely though, they look utterly vile on a mk2 octy VRS.
