am i just unlucky or is paint very easely chipped on new cars?

mine seems to be collecting chips by the day ,strangly down sides of car manly.

The paint is CRAP, dont worry about it and forget paint pens they look awful.

Yes I'd agree Steve. VAG paint does seem especially prone to stone chipping. Gravel traps are a particular nuisance and leave a terrible 'rash'.

Paint seems to have got worse since they starting using the "green" water based stuff.

I'm sure there's a technical reason.

Isn't it better to cover the chips, wouldn't it go rusty otherwise? I had the stone chips covered using a touch up pen on my previous car and looked alot better than seeing the white underneath the paint.

My Grill has already got a few chips! Only had it done a month now!
