Octavia vRS cold idle problem

Featured Replies

Check your coil packs. If the exhaust is popping it could be letting unburnt fuel through one of the cylinders.

Maybe I missed it when reading this thread?, but the Coolant temp sensor would be my 1st port of call with any temp related running issue.

Thanks.I have changed temp sensor today still no different.mmmmm!

i have some spare coil packs if you decide to change them

just send me a pm

Thing is with the temp sender is that its a duel one, the gauge can be spot on but the other reading to the ecu can be totally wrong
