retrofitting screen wash low warning

Featured Replies

Has anybody successfully retrofitted a screen wash low warning (either light or buzzer)? I have an new 59-reg octavia SE (1.8TSI) and its the only thing missing :)

I need to check if I have the light on the dash, but I've no idea if I have the sensor in the tank.

Cheers.

The instrument ckuster has the warning lamp, you will probably need the sensor ( less than £10 ) and some wire. I'm thinking of doing this to my Golf but it needs 1 wire to be wired directly to the instrument cluster connection block

although I have a golf I'm sure the octavia is very similar

From my wiring diagram the Low Coolant Warning sensor G32, Ambient Temperature Sensor G17 and Low Screen Wash Sensor G33 are all on the same loop
