My heater fan no.1 position has not worked in some time...last few day no.2 and no.3 gave up...leaving fan position no.4 only...any uick fixes...is it a resistor or the control panel?

Resistor pack with thermal cut out on the same board. It's tucked into the RH side of the heater box. About an hour and lots of swearing if you haven't removed the trim before

any guides or pics??

I recall that when I did one before that all you had to do was take the glovebox out and you can get to it.

the fabia ive just bought needed this doing, like moggytech said its the resistor thats gone. i think the resistor cost something like 45 quid ( the guy who i bought it off fixed it before i took the car)
