Modding a non vrs mk2 octavia

Featured Replies

Hey guys I have bought a 1.9tdi octavia after owning my Fabiavrs for only 6 months( new addition to family forced sale) anyway what I want to do is mod it a bit and was wondering if anyone else has done this and if you have pics of the finished project I have already purchased 18" alloys but what to do next is the question options are lowering springs remap(is it really worth it) new bumpers I honestly don't know so any help would be great thanks

remap wise yes it is 100% worth it. but dont go buying no cheap ebay stuff. go for the real deal from a reputable tuner.

chuck on some eibach springs which will lower the car very nicely, they are a cheap mod. i think the vRS sits to high so non vRS cars look like they are on stilts IMO. id also really reccomend getting a set of eibach anti roll bars. you standard ones will be smaller than the vRS so the margin for improvement will be massive. they are by far my favourite modification.

also get your chrome grill surround colour coded. i reckon you could do all of that above in a 1k budget
