i've been fiddling again

Featured Replies

fitted a green panel filter today and bodged a cold air feed to the air box, pipe diameter could do with being bigger and i may change the route down to the front lower valance (once i've made holes where there aren't any).

not bad for ten minutes work before it started raining(that fine rain that soaks you through) :D

You'll go blind with all that fiddling.

Just be very careful with siting the air intake in the lower valance. A mate had problems (years ago now) on two cars An Escort Mk2 RS X Pack and a Lancia Integrale, both ingested water through an intake, Water doesn't compress like air once its in the engine :( The result was bent conrods and full engine rebuilds. :thumbdwn:
