indicators not working?

Featured Replies

hi since yesterday my indicators will not come on i'll get a single flash from them and nothing after that, the hazards are working fine, i've done a google search and but cant find much info for skodas just audis and VW's which say its a relay problem, if it is does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to get the skoda dealership to fix the problem i'll be calling them later but a ball park figure would be good. or would it be possible to get a local garage to fix it?

thanks

Did it say that the problem was a specific relay, like, say, "Relay 12345" on the Golf 4 and Audi A3? If so, it should be the same relay in the same place on the Octy.

The indicator relay is integrated into the hazard light switch, usually changing the whole switch fixes weird indicator behaviour.

I agree with Ken. I had some indicator problems - just replaced the relay / hazard switch unit on the dash and this fixed everything. About £20 - 25 for a new unit I think.
