Heavy steering & Whistling Heating fans

Featured Replies

Hey all I recently bought an Octavia 1.9 ambiente which is my first big car as i have always had hot hatches. I feel the steering is heavy on the Octavia and was wondering if something could be up with it is it normal or not???.

I also think there maybe a problem with the heating fans as whenever I have them on they make a whistling noise whenever i turn right never when i go left only right has anyone else had this issue and if so whats the fix????

Oh... thought this might have been a thread for 'fans' of heavy steering and whistling heating - I'm obviously out of luck ;)

The Skoda Octavia PAS is electromechanical rather than the hydraulic systems that some cars use, this might account for a difference in how it feels to you?

I lack anything too constructive to say, but I hope the banter doesn't offend, just raises a smile :)

Keep driving in anti-clockwise circles :)
