really? i think Muscovado is a much better colour for the Yeti.

my Passat Estate is the colour - which it suits. But that is a rep mobile.

Yeah I guess so - I'm just having 'order now placed and I can't change any options' nerves!!

Steel Grey deffo nicer. Sure you can't change !?

Mine will look just like the one in the video - except I didn't go for silver roof rails. Can always get some bacofoil out if I'm not happy.

I did that too (see post about storm blue yetiis!). Why is it that it is the colour that we all freak out about after we've ordered? I wanted a more 'fun' colour than grey - my husbands A4 was a similar colour to steel grey and was more somber for work. In the end I trailed round to a couple of showrooms til I found a storm blue car - a new fabia - and felt much happier it wouldn't look like a plumbers van.

I am surprised that Skoda did not offer a few brighter colours. The Yeti is a fun car and the colours on offer are not overly cheery. I would have liked a Yeti in the VRS blue but it was not available. Maybe in a year or so they may review matters and introduce some younger colours. Then again that might mean Lime Green and Bright Orange which would be baaaaaaddddddd.

Perhaps the reason why the Yeti is available only in more subtle apart from the few basic non mettalic colours mainly is that they are making a statement about its quality, which fun colours might detract from. It is only a thought. Their are some colours avilable in the EU but not here, I do not know what they are except that the purple colour is one. the other thing sales. How many or what % of alternative colours would sell. Perhaps like some maniufacturers they cold make for additional costs any colour that you like.

Checked with the dealer today - too late to change my mind so muscovado it is!

I wanted a funky/different colour and thought the Muscovado was the closest to that (never thought I'd say that about brown!!). Good luck with the blue. I'm sure it will be great in the blue.

Is this a pop video featuring the yeti or a yeti advert featuring a pop band??

The latter because:

tom

The latter because:

tom

I see! Thanks

Now besides this video with a rap song in the dialect of Lombard, skoda Italy has launched two other versions with the same backing track but the other two texts, one in Rome and one in Naples.

Really fun

My father who has nearly 90 years, sings "Ga el suv ... el bauscia il milanes ..."- trad - "He has the SUV he ... is a cool Milanese ..."

The text continues with a parody of the stereotype of the holder of SUVs and the excesses that characterize these vehicles.

The final message is "enough of the excesses. Skoda Yeti, the compact SUV Exist"
