where the hell is the front towing eye on the octavia vrs? mine is a 07 pd tdi and it broke down the other day. the guy who came to tow it couldnt find the towing eye. it was dark out but he looked for ages and couldnt it. does it have one?

its underneath one of the front grills in the lower part of the bumper, you remove the grill by pulling on it hard and then screw in (reverse thread) the attachment which should be in the kit by the spare wheel.

Best of luck - can't get the plastic cover off on mine. Tried everything. May be easier to just rip the bumper off!
