Nice idea on the tailgate but just too costly IMO, I'd rather spend on other areas of the car. I agree though it would look very smooth. I'd also like black/silver plates but I know I won't get away with it.

I was told by the bodyshop that the lights are still legal. They certainly work well enough and I've had police cars behind me since having them done and not been pulled over [touches wood].

Guy - I'll send you a PM

EDIT: There is no PM option when I click on your name. I'll email instead!

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't activate the PM option as I'm only an irregular vistor here, so didn't want to clog the system up (not that anyone would send me a message). :)

The deadpedal is available on it's own, it's not cheap though, vagparts sell it for

The TT one won't fit AFAIK.

Can you get one without the R logo?

The r-line dead pedal is the only one that fits that I know of. The Anni GTI one would have fit but unfortunately only had an alloy dead pedal on LHD versions.

Eddy,

I really like what you've done with the car, and I do like the 'toned down' badge, it looks very well done. I'm not a big fan of labels, and the badge is just another label, so it seems perfectly OK to cover it up.

Eddy.... about the badge..... have a word with your skoda dealer and ask to look @ the badge on a 1.2 fabia on the engine cover.... its a skoda badge but its uncoloured, may be just what you need? My cars due in again sometime soon so should get a furby for the day again so i'll try and get pic.

Michael - Thanks!

rpallett - I suspect the engine badge will be pretty flat whereas the exterior badge is curved to fit so I think they'll be fitment problems.

aren't the engine badges very chunky too?
