Yes, but Radio 4 on FM and Radio 4 on LW have different schedules... The cricket is not on the FM schedule, only the LW schedule...

The complaint was that he couldn't get Radio 4 on LongWave, not that he couldn't get Radio 4... There's a slight difference there... Each to their own though, I enjoy cricket and I know some people find it boring, but I also enjoy watching motorsport and rugby (and womens beach volleyball ) and I'm sure there are people who would find those boring ( know my ex couldn't stand watching motorsport...)

For those of you who do not understand, you cannot get Long Wave on FM. Therefore you cannot listen to the cricket, if you could then I would. Simples. If your Father - in Law can get the cricket on FM, do tell.

As it was mentioned on the news during the week FM could be turned off by 2015, if this is the case I hope they make cheap digital converters available to all and every radio station we can only get a few up here in the Borders but down south theres loads to choose from
