Does anyone know if the rumours are true regarding a new possible 2 litre petrol engine for the Superb? As Skoda get engines from their VW dad, I'm assuming he has decided it's time to hand down something slightly more powerful than the 1.8 currently on offer.

If it's more than a rumour, then I might hang around for one, and possibly skip the 2.0 litre powered Octavia vRS.

This discussion also started already in the german communities. The 2.0 is expected to be vailable in summer. The really interesting question is, if its available with 4x4 and/or DSG

It is on sale in China, so I would guess it will work it's way to other markets
