Internal Bicycle Holder - anyone got one?

Featured Replies

Has anyone got one of the Skoda internal bicycle holders? If so are they any good? Got any photos?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I have one and it is bloody great. Used it loads last year, in fact I have left it in because I use it so much. Most the time I just carry my race bike in it, but I have carried two bikes in there and it works very well. I can not recommend it enough. Sorry no pictures though. When I carry just the one bike you only need to take one seat out as there is so much room. I have managed to persuade the wife to sell her car so she can have my Roomster when the new Octavia arrives. B)

Cheers Jonathan.

Looks like I'll be getting one too then. Got a Yeti on order and I've never liked the idea of hanging my posh road bikes off the back, or on the roof. Sounds like this will do the trick perfectly. Can you take one of the two bike holders out altogether?

Also, £200 seems a lot do you (or anyone else) know if it's possible to get them any cheaper other than a main dealer?

Yes, it is very easy it just unscrews. I paid £70.00 for mine from the stealers.

I do not like the idea of hanging my bike of the back of the car I hate the idea of having them on the roof. Inside the car is the best place for expensive bikes, apart from when they drop mud all over the inside.

If you want i could email you some pictures i have real difficulity in posting pictures on this forum.
