Front Bonnet Grill Mod

Featured Replies

Okay a few shots of the car with the grill mod that i did and fitted a few weeks back..

Thanks to Billy for his initial mod and pics gave me enough confidence to do it. I did take a few how to pics if anyone wishes to see them, but overall not a hard DIY job just a bit time consuming and there is no turning back once done as the grill sections need cutting.

Cheers for the comments, will post a how too over the the weekend

Nice mark,

is that the same mesh as mine? or did you uses the same as is on the bumper?

Just needs the vRS badge on there lol.

When done correctly it does make it look like it is meant to be like that and not like the Milotec after market thing that makes it look like someone has punched it in the nose and mad it swell lol

Billy

Ignore the vRS badge lol, I didnt see the second pic

Hi Billy cheers for the comments, I think it is the same mesh as yours. It is smaller than the bumper mesh as I thought that the gaps would be too big and felt it would be better with the mesh i used.

Agree with the original Milotec grill looking too swollen.

I put the VRS badge on , took it off again and now it is back on as finnishes the grill off I think.

:rofl::thumbup:

Nice job mate. Good motivation for me to sort mine

Looks nice mate, just working out what I'm going to do with mine! I'm just up the road from you in Petersfield.

Thanks for the offer, might take you up on that once I get permission from the better half!

That looks excellent - really nice. Splitter tops it off well. Think I'm going to raid the piggy bank!

Thanks, although the splitter does not so good today , as I ripped it off parking on a grass verge that was higher than i expected. Doh...

Luckily it has not done damage to the bumper. Kind of been lucky really as splitter been on more han 2 years without damage.

Really like this, looks superb, good work! Need to do something to mine now.
