Have a bit of a plan to repaint my wingmirrors. Already one a nearside one on Ebay for £20 all-in to make a start.,

Question is, now I have a black roof would black mirrors (painted black magic, inc plastic bits....) look good, or go for 100% silver, which might be too much silver.

An idea of how it looks with black roof / normal mirrors (wheels will be white when its back on the road but everything else is the same)

My original first effort of 100% colour coding - to be sorted. (couldn't get any up close shots from my photobucket)

If you were to go Black, I'd suggest the low rent unpainted comfort spec mirror bodies, And get your B pillars done in a matt vinyl!

On your crazy mad ride I'd say black with a finish to match your roof.

Or carbon wrapped??

seen them all silver before and it just doesnt look right, just paint the covers the same as your roof will look

(impossible to replicate the roof as there's a bit of purple fleck in it, but it will be close enough)

Will be trying to do it properly this time - proper sanding down, building up paint with flattening off with wet & dry, and same with lacquer, then machine polishing up again! Hoping it will look good!

All silver looks kinda cool

I think i would prefer mine Silver (Now Black) Although i love the Black Roof

Although in this Pic you cannot even see the Black Roof ... Doh ....

When you get the roof reflecting in the sun, it's got a bit of flake in it. Looks black under normal light.
