Seriously though, check the relay (purely because it's a cheap part) and get the car scanned for fault codes as it could be the stalk or the wiper motor itself.

2001 Skoda FAbia SDI Classic - took apart underneath dash could not find wiper motor relay - found 3 other realys but not 377 relay!

The Fabia doesn't have a relay 377. The wiper functionality is part of the OPSCU (onboard power supply control unit).

A faulty wiper motor is the most likely cause.
