They're very different. I love my PD, especially mapped and de-dpf'd, but standard PD170 vs standard CR170 - CR wins. It's smoother and goes better higher up the rev range.

interesting to hear, as I remember years ago, I test drove the very early PD140 unit in a Leon, and back then with just my map on the 8v, The leon felt like it pulled alot better above 4,000rpm, so would assume the new 170 CR with all these maps and dpf deletes just pull like trains!
