VTA Noisy SSQV DumpValve BOV SKODA OCTAVIA VRS 1.8T 20v

Has any body got one of the above fitted on there cars? if so would you recommend it?

I don't think many members on here have atmpospheric valves like that because the 1.8T engine has to feed at least some of the blow-off air back into the inlet otherwise it throws a fault code.

Forge do a valve called the Split-R which blows some of the air to atmosphere and recycles some, so you get the Whhhooosh noise, but it needs to be set up carefully and the settings need to be changed if you increase the boost

Forge Split-R

Other than that most people on here with 1.8T Octavias (and people on the Seat Leon, Audi and VW Golf forums) either have Forge 007Ps:

Forge 007P DV

Or Bailey DV30:

Bailey DV30

Those are both fully recirculating valves so no danger of fault codes.

get a cold air induction kit off ebay that locates the filter in the bumper like i did .sounds just like one and then fit a forge 007p dv and then fit it side ways {007p dv}and then you get a louder swush.. B)
