I've no idea what bushes are (except for the ones that grow in gardens and lower regions), but this morning whilst cruising on the motorway at normal speed I heared a loud knock (as if something got thrown up inside the wheel arch). When I later pulled into my office carpark (where there are a number of speed bumps) I could clearly hear a noise (sounded like coming from suspension) when going over them. I had a look around the wheels to see if I could spot anything, but ofcourse nothing visible. I will perform some addtional speed bump testing this afternoon to see if I can find out what part it is coming from and take it to the dealers.

And as if by magic, no matter how slow/fast I went through corners, over bumps... no noise.

Maybe it was all a figure of my imagination...

Do octy vRS owners notice a noise coming from the standard front suspension when it's rolled over a speed bump or going down a sloping driveway.

I have on mine and I am just wondering if this is normal????? It's booked in on the 5th for the seat problem might get them to check the suspension too.

Hi, I've got a creaking noise with my Octavia RS which seems to occur when I go over speed humps, although it does seem to be a tad intermittent. It's going into the garage today so I'll mention the bushes on the anti-roll bar and see what they say. It is highly annoying

I think it's normal, even for non-vRS Octavias. Mine graunches a bit if I drive faster than a snail's pace off the drive, over the lowered kerb, and on to the road. I've checked under the bumper for scuffs; nothing there so I guess it's suspension noises, not the bodywork grounding.
