Engine Detailing

Featured Replies

Right, I'm slowly getting the bottle up to detail my engine bay :S . Trouble is I've never done one before, so can anyone (Baker???) tell me which parts I really shouldn't give a good soaking too?

Thanks fella's, I have read the guide (several times). I'm planning to use APC at 4:1 would that be ok or should I invest in some of the AG Engine Cleaner?

'Sensitive' electrical items - I'm thinking battery terminals and altrenator, would you recommend anything else?

Sorry for the delayed repsonse but I have been away over the weekend up in Scotland...........

For me the battery and alternator are good points to cover but nowadays most motor's are covered in so much plastic and insulation that as long as your engine is running you can rinse and wash the bay to your heart's content with no problems..........
