I agree with the advantages of taking the ipod's output from the bottom, but given the slightly odd location of the lighter socket I'd be interested to see it all in action - any chance of a pic?

I've actually run an extension socket to the underside of the dash, near the driver's left foot. This also gives an extra socket, so I can use satnav at the same time.

I'm using a transpod in my octy works very well with the standard headunit.

Has anyone got the Denison ICE:LINK set up? Was just wondering how well it worked, and what the sound quality was like.

I looked at it, but decided to go for a different head unit instead. The price difference wasn't that great.

I presume you went for an AI net Alpine unit ? If so why didn't you buy the proper Ipod controller box from Alpine ?
