We have a 2000 OCtavia and today the Service INSP popped up. But also the speedometer reads 0, the petrol guage isn't working nor is the thermostat. The indicators, radio, lights all ok. can we do the insp reset, or is it garage job? thanks.

If your on a fixed interval and then you can reset the service reminded yourself - your manual will tell you how.... However if you are on variable then you will need vag-com or the like to reset it.

Sure isn't it just a service reminder. I had the same message this morning. Everything else is working. However my courtesy light stopped working 2 weeks ago. But that could just be the micro switch capput.
