Favorit Mirrors

Featured Replies

Hi All. Some nice person munted my drivers(right) side mirror for me. I think it is beyond repair as the alloy plate inside had broken. I see that they are available from Jorily, but with the exchange rate, shiping and all, it's a bit pricey.I'm in NZ. Any suggestions??? I have seen an alternative, sleeker mirror in photos of favorits which have been "pimped" on the net. Anyone know anything about these

What about Ebay?

You have a Favorit in NZ? Nice!!

I've got a couple in the garage, I'll have a look to see what condition they're in if you like?

Thanks Ya all. I have a bit of a time constraint so have bitten the bullet and ordered one from Jorily. Am waiting to hear from them as to how they will ship it though as they reckon it can take 8 weeks by sea to NZ. Too long for me as the wee thing is going in to have the last bit of rust work done and a nice new paint job next week. Would post some pics but haven't a clue how to do it on this forum

BTW Favorit Ken, Thanks for the offer.

Didn't know that Favorits ever made it to NZ. Never saw one in my visits back to the land of my upbringing, and certainly my relatives have never seen one either. Must be difficult getting parts.

Yea but , No but, thay didn't. Think someone must have ordered mine in new. Have not seen or heard of another here. Suprisingly, parts are not too much of a problem overall and often cheaper than one would expect. NZ has a long history with Skoda going right back to the 1950's. A Skoda was used for the base of the only NZ designed and built vehicle, The TREKKA. Look them up on the net. Its an interesting story.
