Neuspeed Torque arm insert

Featured Replies

I got one of these fitted yesterday and am very impressed with the result. It has made the gear changes more positive and increased the throttle response. It is new, so I do get a very slight vibration at low down in the rev range, about 1000rpm when I pull away. But that will go, as it settles down. There is no vibration at all when driving. Overall for about £30. It is a well worth mod to do if your car is modified ie remapped etc. Id probably get it done even if it isnt!

Next thing to do is to fit the neuspeed intercooler to manifold pipe :)

For anyone contemplating buying a Neuspeed Torque arm insert please note there a 2 versions.

A pre-2009 and a post-2009 one. But this designation appears to refer to the Golf MkV.

I ordered one on the basis of the model years as indicated but it turned out that my 2007 Octy 2 PD VRS has the "post 2009" version. So check your bush prior to purchase.

The original rubber bush can be viewed from under the car. Two versions are obviously different. The awesome website has pics of the original bush.
