Hello to all, someone of good will could put photos of MUDFLAPSwhere see in detail how they are fixed to the wheel arches?

I ask this because I'm not sure how I have them mounted.

Thank you.

Thanks a lot, but unfortunately I do not find one where you see how they are hooked to the wheel arch. That is, the flap should be fixed under the plastic cover of a wheel arch or only fixed with screws on it?

Hi,

the flaps are fixed by removing the existing Hex screws holding the wheel arch liner in place, then putting the flap into position and refitting the screws. There is also a clip to fit on the back set.

Tools required are a ratchet handle with bit adaptor and a 2.5 Hex bit.

Thank you very much

Actually, for the front ones, there is a plastic "lip" that is designed to clip over the top of the arch.

I found the best way to fit was to put the car on full lock, remove the torx bolts, refit and losely attach the torx bolts.

Get a flat-head screwdriver and push through the "lip" - it then clips in easily.

If having a problem, you can soften them in a bowl of hot water !

For the rears, I found opening up the "C" section mounting with a screwdriver made them easier to get in place - the metal clip then closes it back down tight.

Sorry, but there is a little correction:

The screws have Torx flat heads, so the bit required is a Torx - I do not remember which size, could be 25.
