whilst driving at night especially with lights on i lose all the instrument lights on the the inside

have checked and cleaned all the fuses still the same

anyone know of any reported problems with the main light switch?

It could be a fault with the main light switch,my octy light switch is playing up,sometimes when i turn on the lights only dipped beam comes on,no sidelights(front & rear) & no dash/instrument lights! i have to turn the lights on & off until they all come on! the other night i turned them on & all was well until i got to the end of our street & they had gone off!! im going to try & remove,strip down & clean the contacts inside the switch & if that doesnt work it will be new switch time!

It could be a faulty instrument rheostat or the connections to it. Hope this helps
