ODB II connector

Featured Replies

Hi all

Tomorrow I am receiving my "almost" new Skoda Octavia 1.6 Multifuel (FL).

It is from May 2009 and I have tested it several times and looks OK, but I would like to connect my VAG code reader and check if there is any code left that I should worry about before signing the final papers.

I have been trying to locate it but could n´t find it anywhere.

Anyone who could guide me to the right location of the ODB II connector?

Thanks in advance.

its right down in the drivers footwell, on the side near the door. If your code reader does not support full can operation then you will not be able to read any codes.

Mmm I guess I will have to use a torch to be able to identify it. The interior is black, the mats are black and I guess the bxxxxy connector is also black...

I just realized that my car has the steering wheel "in the other side" (swedish car) so I guess it will be in the left side footwell.

THX anyway, I will try again with more light.

it should still be on the drivers side, as our RHD cars interior mirror your LHD ones. it is right down the bottom though, and if you have never seen it before a torch would be very handy.

The centre of the connector is IIRC purple, so it should be easy to find.

Yep in purple and fairly easy to find. :)
