just wondering if im driving down from sunny scotland to get exhaust i know it will be very warm, will it take long to cool down enough for them to replace it? also with a 200mile trip soon after its been fitted is that advisable or is it better letting it settle in 1st?

It would need approx half hour to cool down , then maybe a 7 mile roadtest , then come back and we can do any adjustments if it is required

So yes ,, we can do it in 1 visit

No worries there

Be good to finally meet you , then you can check to make sure I dont charge you too much for you exhaust LOL

200miles after its been fitted shouldn't be a problem, I live about 60miles from Awesome and took the senic route home then wen't to pick my kids up from nursery and did approx 150niles straight after fitting, IMO the quicker ther milage is put on the quicker it will settle.

and Sarah i do apologise but im mostly on here when im not working hehehe. thanks for the info, more of the plan coming together. 30mins cool down is fine and im guessing 2hrs for fit and test so sounds good, will give me time to drive back home too lol

Hey Kenny - pity Blueflame don't seem to offer an A5 system, what with the current Awesome deal on them and everything

Update the thread if you're coming down to have a Milltek fitted at Awesome though - I'll try and come down while you're there

I believe Blueflame are actually after an Audi A5 for development at the moment so it may well be worth giving them a buzz and seeing what they can sort out.

Hi mate, yeah had thought of contacting blueflame but have heard so many good reports of the milltek system im going to stick with it.

i will be sure to let you know if im coming down, missed you the last time you were picking up the S3 wheels
