Goodbye last of the VAG boost hose

Featured Replies

Looking to get rid of the last bit of the Vag clip style Boost Hose ....

Im replacing with a Piece of Stainless Steel pipe as below

Although im still going to have to use the Vag connector that fits into the Turbo, Due to the end of the Turbo housing not being round :( I was hoping to rid all ...

I Just need a 51mm 90 Deg Elbow,

Cut the pipe to length & then remove the Vag Turbo end connector from the original Hose so that it can fit inside the new silicone one ....

Potential for leaks should be No More :D

Cheers.

IIRC (its been awhile like I say) its much like yours, and used the vag connector on the last one just to get it to fit, will check tonight actually as gives me sumet to do

I know nothing of anything of turbo pipes and fitting.... but,

Couldn't you either file down the bumps at the turbo end to make it round, or cut it back to the round part... or it fecking with the shell of a turbo a reeeeeeally bad idea?

I did think of that, But it is nigh on impossible with the Turbo Fitted ......
