Buckled Wheels on New LTD EDT

Featured Replies

Yep....I have an LE and managed to bend the front offside wheel on a pothole. Mt dealer said that he had two other customers with the same problem. I reckon they are weak wheels

I reckon they are weak wheels

Well yeah - they're TDs, they're not built like OEM wheels.

Actually, more commonly used to describe a short, sharp-pointed nail, usually with a flat, broad head. :wonder:

In this context however, that would be nonsensical. :)

They changed tack, not tact. It's a sailing idiom.

So if you used a small broad headed nail to hold something on to a horse saddle and the horse that was wearing the saddle suddenly changed direction…………….

……wait for it………

Does that mean the tack on the tack changed tack?

.........runs for cover for showing lack of tact

I also buckled both front wheels on my LE vrs due to potholes, are Skoda admitting any design flaw?

I'd say that there are a sufficient number of these to demonstrate "not fit for purpose". Trading Standards should be your next call. A wheel should be able to survive modern roads with ease without bending for crying out loud.

Well you can now add me to the list with buckled LE wheels !! Not happy at all.

Dont particularly like them anyway, but the interior more than compensates. Thats not the point though, these wheel are clearly not up to the job.
