As far as I'm aware it isn't

Mk2 came with canbus system

One simple way to check, is remove a bulb from say the rear light cluster and if it says Side light lamp out on the dash (or something like that)

then you have can-bus.

But it depends why you want to know, as any car that can be used with Vag-com has some sort of can-bus, as that how it talks to the ECU, but true

can-bus wiring extends to lighting wiring etc

hi radio two,i want to know,as i am looking at buying vagcom and lead off ebay.most for sale say that they dont work with canbus.thanks,ken.

those ones will work fine with your car

They arn't the real thing though.
