Cam Belt part number

Featured Replies

Can any body give me the part number for the cam belt and any other bits needed to go with it,i think the dealer that i got the car from is trying to pull the wool over my eyes.he said that it had been done before i picked it up(04 plate with 49,000miles),and the service book says different, and the sheet i got with all the bits done to the car before i picked it up.their doesn't seem to be a cam belt on it.thanks in advance.

Cam belt kits often go under the description of 'repair kit', is there one of those listed?

There should be some new stretch bolts there too, as they needed to be changed (ideally) as an engine mount needs to be removed (certainly this is the case on the TDi).

very rarely anybody that uses us asks for the engine mount bolts, kit part number 06A 198 119 B

belt on its own 06B 109 119 A

Are you suggesting most naughty people don't replace the bolts?! :wonder:

most garages must be naughty then lol, very rare we ever supply/get asked for the replacement bolts

tbh, I did not replacement last time around, but it is due a belt change again soon ish (20k), so I will change them this time, as I don't know if the garage them on the first belt change though.
