My two cents...

I had a similar problem with my Fabia. After a long trip into the local dealer they discovered that the phelan chamber's filter was blocked and that was causing the water to back up (in realy wet weather) and pour into the car via the ventilation pipes. They knocked the filter out of the bottom of the chamber dumping all the water in their garage and it's been fine since. They thought that the car had been under a tree and had collected debris in the filter causing it to become blocked.

It's just a thought, but if it saves you paying as much as I did ...

The screens are fitted dry in the felicia, my felicia leaked and had the screen sealed by autoglass for about

deffo screen

Very common that, the plenum chamber should be checked for debris evey major service but often isnt as its a pain to do especially on the Fabia.

Thanks for all the replies taking car to garage to have filter looked at as this seems to be the main problem. Will post back and let you know what happens.

My vRS estate had a similar problem which had the dealer baffled (no surprise there, then...).

Rear and front nearside footwells were filling up with water, I removed over 10 litres before the dealer sussed the fault.

The rear door drain holes were blocked with road dirt, the doors had filled with water to the level of the aperture behind the trim panel and had then overflowed from behind the panel, collecting in the rear footwell and spreading from there.

I now clear the drainholes every week.

Tools required: 1 cocktail stick or similar, 2 ciggies, 3 cups tea.

Didn't realise the felicia had the filter in the location the others are talking about you learn something every day I put my money on the screen
